Grace Baptist of Essex has been privileged to have been shepherded by the same pastor for the last twenty-five years. In 1974, he and his wife felt a call on their life to enter the ministry. While originally planning to serve overseas, the Lord led them a little closer to home. In 1979, he was called to what was then called Berean Baptist Church in Windsor, ON. In 1990 the church purchased a building in Essex, and changed their name to Grace Baptist Church of Essex. He currently serves as the sole elder for our congregation of approximately 70 people.
